I've got so many files on my computer that my disk is almost full. Is there anyway I can get more space?

There are a number of things you can do to get more room on your hard drive. First, check to see if there are any old files that you no longer need and can delete. There could also be some old programs installed that you don't use any more. Uninstalling these will give you more free disk space to save your files to.

If you have tried this are you are still running out of space, the best way to get more disk space is to install a larger hard drive. We offer a service where we will pick-up your computer, copy all of your data and the operating system, to a new, bigger disk. We will then return your computer and plug it back in for you.

You can choose how big you want the new hard drive to be. Once we return your computer all of your files and programs will be exactly as you left them. The only difference will be that you have much more space to save your files to.

We can only perform this work at our work shop due to the specialist equipment required. You will pay just £35 for the work plus the cost of a bigger hard drive. Depending on the size you choose, this could be as little as £25.

 I'm worried what my children are doing on the Internet, is there anyway I can protect them?

We can install password protected software that will help prevent your children accessing unsuitable sites on the Internet. It will give you piece of mind and it is very easy to manage. You can decide what categories of sites you want to block e.g. chat sites, adult sites etc. and the software will prevent anyone accessing those sites without the password. We can install this software from as little as £15 with our Remote Support service or we can install it by visiting your house as part of our Home Call service.

When I play online games on my computer, every few minutes the game stalls and it means I can't play properly. What can I do?

We can install a special piece of software that will launch automatically when you turn your computer on. This will prevent your computer stalling when playing games online.

When I first bought it my computer was much faster than now. What has slowed it down?

Computers can slow down over time. Various things can do this including programs starting automatically when you turn the computer on, people using large background pictures and viruses. I installed a program from the Internet and now I keep getting adverts pop-up on my computer.

This is likely to be a virus or some sort of ad-ware that has installed itself on your computer. Depending on the scale of the infection, it may be possible to fix the problem using our Remote Support service. For a full scan of your system a Health Check is probably the best option.
